Small Masonry

Small stonework projects make a landscape feel finished. We handle the modest masonry jobs that most big contractors will not touch: crisp stone edging, resetting loose walkway pavers, and small stone features that tie the yard together.

What we do: natural stone or paver edging, minor walkway and patio paver repairs, small stone borders and accents, step touch-ups.

What we don’t do: structural retaining walls, foundations, or any work requiring an engineering stamp — we will tell you straight if your project needs a licensed mason and point you in the right direction.

What’s included

  • Stone and paver edging
  • Resetting loose or sunken pavers
  • Minor walkway repairs
  • Small stone borders and accents
  • Polymeric sand re-application

How it works

  1. Look. We see the area, check the base, and tell you what will actually last.
  2. Prep. Proper base and bedding — the part that decides whether it stays put.
  3. Set. Stone and pavers placed level and tight.
  4. Finish. Joints swept, edges backfilled, area cleaned.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fix my sunken walkway?

If the base is sound, we can usually lift and reset the pavers. If the base has failed, we will say so and price a proper re-base.

Do you build retaining walls?

No — we stick to small landscape stonework. Structural walls need an engineer and a licensed mason, and we would rather be honest than guess.

How long does edging last?

Properly set stone edging with a compacted base typically holds its line for many years with only minor settling.
